Agrimax™ 3H Rainfast multipurpose adjuvant
Spread, stick & penetrate with a single product.
Agrimax 3H rainfast multipurpose adjuvant is a breakthrough technology for improving the performance of hydrophobic fungicides in crop protection applications.

Agrimax 3H features a synergistic combination of
water-insoluble polymers and other chemistries that, together, provide the functionality of spreaders, stickers and penetrants in a single easy-to-use product.
Conventional adjuvant technologies employ simple surfactants or watersoluble polymers to enhance spreading and sticking performance. The Agrimax 3H spray tank adjuvancy system is based on water-insoluble polymers that resist wash-off from either rain or irrigation water. When diluted in the spray tank, Agrimax 3H helps form a stable dispersion that delivers performance advantages over conventional adjuvant formulations. The components of the Agrimax 3H system work synergistically to promote wetting, spreading and penetration.
Spray Oils from H & R
Agricultural spray oils generally consist of two components. The predominant component
being suitable base oil combined with an emulsifier/surfactant system

Base oils utilized in spray oil formulations are typically of two types. Those used to formulate
citrus spray oils are highly refined. During the refining process, the ”raffinate” is passed through a ”hydrogen” treating facility. During this process, sulphur and aromatics are removed from the raffinate. The colour of the finished base oil is typically water white following ”hydro treating .”In some cases base oils may be „ferro-fined” to achieve the same improvement in colour. Spray oils used in some non-citrus applications do not need to be "hydro treated/ferro-fined“. Base oils, which have not been treated in this manner, are typically straw coloured.
A typical spray oil formulation will contain at least one emulsifying additive. The most
commonly used systems are of the ethoxylated alkyl phenol type. During 2001, the European
Union imposed a ban on the use of nonylphenolethoxylate (NPE) containing products, which
includes agricultural spray oils. Therefore, there will be a move to more environmentally friendly emulsifier technology in the coming years as the ban against the use of NPE’s spreads to other areas of the world.
Wood Care Technology by Ashland Specialty Ingredients
Wood Care Technology by Ashland Specialty Ingredients is a comprehensive approach to wood protection and to the creation of high quality wood coatings products. Ashland Specialty Ingredients has developed technology that addresses the four major sources of wood degradation – UV light, fungi & algae, water and insects – and introduced a series of ingredients that will allow the wood coatings formulator the ability to create premium end-use products.
